OUTREACH SERVICES TEAM LEADER

ALIGNED TO THE HSE PROFESSIONAL SOCIAL CARE LEADER SCALE (OCT **APPLY

Finglas Addiction Support Team (FAST) is a thriving community drug
team that provides support for people who are experiencing problems
because of their drug and alcohol use. FAST provides a range of
programmes and interventions across the continuum of care ranging from
harm reduction and crisis intervention through to structured
rehabilitation, aftercare and family support.

We are seeking an experienced individual to provide leadership to the
Outreach Services Team and oversee the implementation of all Outreach
and In-Reach service delivery. The Outreach Services Team Leader will
be responsible for the development, implementation and evaluation of
programmes and services.

This an exciting opportunity for the right person as the organisation
continues to grow and develop. FAST is committed to providing a
quality service and the Outreach Services Team Leader will play a
pivotal role in continuing to develop inclusive services to those who
are experiencing significant barriers to accessing drug and alcohol
treatments.

QUALIFICATIONS:

ESSENTIAL:

Third level Qualification in Addiction studies/Social Care or related
field

DESIRABLE:

* Management qualification
* CRA Accreditation
* PuP Therapist Accreditation

EXPERIENCE

ESSENTIAL:

* At least 2 years Line Management experience and supervision of
Teams
* Minimum of 3 years front line experience of working with people
with problem drug and/or alcohol use on an individual and group level.
* Proven track record of developing outreach/in-reach services in
the community.
* Direct experience of working with Travellers and New Communities.
* Experienced in Evidence based practice in the area of substance
use.
* Possess an understanding of the current National Drugs Strategy
Reducing Harm, Supporting Recovery A health-led response to drug and
alcohol use in Ireland *
* Ability and competence in the use of IT Systems – Microsoft
Word, Excel, email and eCASS.

DESIRABLE:

* Experience in Outcome measurement tools.
* Experience of financial management

KNOWLEDGE

ESSENTIAL:

* An understanding of the specific needs of excluded and marginalised
groups/individuals.
* Knowledge and experience of evidence-based treatment approaches in
substance use.

DESIRABLE:

* An understanding of the Janus Solutions Resonance Factor model of
treatment.
